History

  • 1988: Dirafrost was founded in Herk-de-Stad (Belgium) in the heart of the fruit growing region in Belgium. It was a family company, specialized in distributing frozen fruit and frozen food products for bakery and food service. In the same year, strawberry processing plant in Morocco was bought.
  • 2002: Subsidiary Serbia was founded:  Yube
  • 2003: new factory in Morocco was built: Diramar
  • 2004: Dirafrost became a member of the Austrian Agrana Group
    and develops more sales to the food processing industry

Today, our most important market is still Western-Europe.

As far as export is concerned, we are growing in the Asian region, especially with our fruit puree: we have distributors in Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
